Freedom from cracked, dry heels: 3 DIY pedicures to pamper your feet
During the monsoon, you should take extra care of your feet since the dirt and unclean water from the rain can cause foot odor, wrinkled feet, itchiness, fungal infections, and sweaty feet. Foot care should be at the top of your list of priorities for beauty (alongside skincare) to ensure you are liberated from dry heels and feet! What, therefore, could be better than a home pedicure?

A pedicure can help remove dead skin, heal heel splits, offer your feet a glow, and remove filth and bacteria. There are a few DIY techniques that you can try at home because we are aware that getting frequent pedicures in salons can be pretty pricey.
3 DIY Pedicures For Dry Heels
1. Coconut oil pedicure
What you need:
- 1 bucket/tub of warm water
- Coconut oil
- pumice stone/loofah
Steps to follow:
To the warm water in the tub, add a few drops of coconut oil. Spend 20 to 30 minutes soaking your feet in water. To remove the grime off your feet, use a loofah or a pumice stone. You’ll feel calm and relaxed as a result of doing this in addition to cleaning your feet.
2. Marigold lime pedicure
What you need:
- Few drops of honey
- 2 lemon slices
- Marigold petals
- Hot soapy water
- Pumice Stone
Step to follow:
Your toenails will look better if you massage them with honey. Then submerge them in the hot, soapy water tub. Add some marigold petals and lemon slices to the hot tub. Dead skin cells can be removed with a pumice stone, and after the nails have softened, they can be cleaned with a brush.
If required, use a cuticle pusher after patting dry. To get rid of extra dirt or tan, rub lemon on your skin. Last but not least, massage your skin with a mixture of 2 tbsp of honey and cream.
3. Cooling massage oil pedicure
What you need:
- 100ml olive oil
- A few drops of eucalyptus oil
- 2 drops of rosemary oil
- 3 drops of khus or rose oil
- A bucket of warm water
- A few drops of tea tree essential oil
Steps to follow:
Put your feet in a quarter-bucket of warm water to soak. Tea tree oil can be added in small amounts to help with sweat and odor removal.
Give your feet a 15-minute soak. Trim your nails, and clean your skin with a loofah. Finally, massage your feet with a mixture of olive oil, rosemary, khus, and eucalyptus.
